Meet the team!

 This week we are continuing with our work on 'The Magic Paintbrush' by Julia Donaldson. We are going to be looking at repetition and how to use prepositional phrases. As always we are going to be challenging ourselves and pushing ourselves to use creative vocabulary.

 This week we are moving on to our time topic where we will be starting to look at on the hour and half past the hour and roman numerals.

PE

This week our PE day is Monday.

Our PE day is Monday. Children should come to school wearing their PE kit in place of their usual uniform. PE kit should consist of:

Plain white T-shirt, black shorts or track suit bottoms (no logos), plain black hoodie or school jumper, trainers. Please do not use kit from other sporting activities that children may be involved in outside of school.

Reminder - jewellery is not permitted in school. If you child has pierced ears they may wear one pair of small studs. These must be covered during PE sessions. Other styles of earrings should not be worn.

This term, we are looking at creation stories and how different religions have a different view of how our world was created.

Foundation subjects 

We will be doing Geography this week, looking at different aspects of geography field work.

Supporting learning at home.

It is really important that your child's learning is supported at home. To help with this, we have online resources that they should access at home on a regular basis. These are Reading Plus and TT Rockstars.

Both websites are far easier to use on a laptop, PC or tablet; mobile phones are simply too small.

Please encourage and support your children to access these websites regularly.
